For mutual respect and against sexualised violence in the university context!

Sexualised violence is a problem for society as a whole, which is not only present in the private sphere, but also in various areas of our society.

Unfortunately, students also repeatedly experience sexualised violence in the university context, whether by university staff, fellow students or by third parties. Incidents can occur on campus, in canteens and cafeterias, in dormitories, or at events and parties.

With "NO to sexualised violence", the Studentenwerk Göttingen takes a clear stance and emphasizes its resolute commitment against any form of this violence – for a respectful and considerate university community in which sexual violence is not tolerated and in which all members can feel safe!

"Sexual harassment, discrimination and violence in any form are unacceptable. It is of the utmost importance to spread this message in order to create awareness, promote prevention and offer support to those affected," explains Prof. Dr. Jörg Magull, Managing Director of the Studentenwerk.
